When I was 6 years old, I visited an aunt who had this
type of plant in a pot... the beautiful big and shiny leaves
called my attention and I touched it.
Unfortunately, I touched it where it had a small cut
and the sap that came out of it, looked like a lollie so I put
it to my lips and had to be rushed to hospital as it was
extremely poisonous...
The good thing was that I put it to my lips but didn’t actually
swallowed it , which actually saved my life...
I don’t remember much about it but my Mum made sure
to tell the story often enough and reminding me not to
do that again...
