This is my first attempt at a polonaise using a melody that I had assimilated from a Jewish wedding dance song. I feel that I execute a style similar to Chopin throughout this piece, which makes me happy. The time signature is a bit improper for a polonaise, but I capture the style of polish-jewish folk music that I was going for.
