I took the above photo with my iPhone5 today. I spent most of the day at work in the area, and during the long drive home, I crested a hill and was presented with this view. There is something that we all enjoy about certain types of scenery, and for me, the mountains have alway held sway. I must say though, that travelling through these foothills on rough gravel roads all day long can be tedious, the wilderness around me however makes up for it.
The image is a view west-ward to the east edge of the Rocky Mountain range (approx. 30miles aways) near Grande Cache, AB, CA. These peaks on the eastern edge of the Rockies are not high enough to maintain snow year round, what we see is the last to melt. By July, it will all be gone.
Now that I have a Steemit account, I think I will start packing my camera with me, so that I can capture a clearer image, if I come across something worth sharing.
