That's a lot of guess work to be fair. With ETH 2.0, how will that work without miner support? What happens when exchanges get most of the stake, centralization? No one knows.

I think ETH will survive because of community. EVM compatible L1's with strong community are attractive devs right now..ie Fantom. I think this is how robust ecosystems are fast tracked.

Users dont care what chain at the end of the day, they want low friction, and product market fit. People go where devs built these dapps.

Its also possible that non of this matters and everything will be multichain in the future. Lets sit back and enjoy the ride.
