They say crime doesn't pay, but maybe it does if you have powerful allies 😄. I'm impressed with the amount of detail you provide. For example, the police come right away instead of the usual fifteen minutes. Also, the introduction of facial recognition technology in the alarm system was interesting. It's details like these that bring a story alive.

I think we empathize with Zik because he was dealt a raw deal as a child. He doesn't exactly become Robin Hood, but he does steal from the rich to even the score in life.

This was an entertaining story. I enjoyed reading it very much.
