Your story moved me very much. It is obvious you love dogs. I do too. It's painful to read about the dog's death. That's why we ask authors not to write about killing dogs. It would be good if you could change some of the wording about the death.

Dogs do get killed. I lost a most beloved pet this way when I was five. Even though your scenario is real, we ask readers to stay away from the theme where dogs or children get killed.

I enjoy your stories very much. It is evident to me that when you write you want to say something. That makes the stories worth reading. I see you have entered the July contest. I haven't read it yet. Looking forward to that.
