time does not stop for anyone. It just continues moving, and you have to live all the moments because now is all you have.

I thought about that in the last couple of weeks. I had one of those pesky ailments that lays you low and simply makes you miserable. I was waiting for it to be over. I was enduring. Then I thought, what if this was all the time I had. These days, wretched days, were part of my life. I decided not to let them pass without notice. I decided to make them count. Every day.

We only have so much time. Live each moment consciously.
