I never though to of traveling from the Uk to Holland by ferry. My mother and I traveled from Calais to Dover way back in'72. Of course there was no tunnel so we took the ferry across the channel. It was quite a memorable experience, and to the end of her days my mother recalled that ride. All around us young people were retching because the water was so rough, but she had a grand time.
