In my life there have been so many more consequential issues. One of the biggest was dealing with gender discrimination. Another was poverty. These were difficult, and they certainly slowed me down, but they didn't stop me. That other one you focus on...silly. Nothing to do with what I wanted in life and my ability to get it. I can say the same is true for every woman I have ever known.
