Thank you for sharing my post with the community. I'll tell my daughter her photos were much appreciated. I'll tell the dog too. He's so smart he might actually understand.🌞

What's that saying? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger? Sorry, I'm not going to laud your parents because you ended up OK. Better than OK. Wonderful. Admirable. Strong. But what a waste of a childhood.

Thank you, @discovery-it! Your support is much appreciated🌞

Thank you very much @esther-emmanuel. Your acknowledgement is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much, @jotakrevs and @curangel. The support and acknowledgement are greatly appreciated.

I really wish she would join a hiking group, but she likes to get in touch with nature when she hikes. People might be a distraction. I'll have to check out your post to get a report on that:)

Isn't he the most delightful dog? My daughter adopted him as a rescue about two years ago. Here he is in the kennel, asking to be adopted. Who could turn that face down? He is her travel pal now. Too big

My daughter is very generous. She always shares her trips with me by sending me photos. This area is very similar to the area I grew up in. Forested mountain terrain. When I was a child we didn't call it

For me the dominant affect of this poem is mood. I think you capture a mood of being between, of going forward and remembering--vaguely. The past is always a part of us, and yet it fades, becomes at times

it has always worked out Maybe I just remember it that way :))

Thank you! I was also surprised to find that swan species was invasive. I did notice that in the pictures no other birds were nearby. Usually, when we go to that beach, we'll see geese, ducks and seagulls

I don't know what to think about this challenge. I never pretended to be someone I wasn't. I never strove to improve for someone else. But for most of my life it seems I have defied expectations and have
