Sorry, I'm not going to laud your parents because you ended up OK. Better than OK. Wonderful. Admirable. Strong. But what a waste of a childhood. All those years. Sorry I can't see the method in their cruelty.

You are just made of finer stuff. And what about your brother? How did that work out for him. As fine as you turned out, imagine if they had helped you along.
