A Hungry Rabbit in My Collage for LMAC #167

I offer a simple collage and a simple blog today. I have been working really hard updating the house and have little time or energy. But the collage is so relaxing I had to make one.

@shaka's template for this week's contest (#167), was gorgeous (I don't compete in the contest).

I played around with image because that was relaxing, but most of my efforts came to naught. Yesterday afternoon I was tearing up rugs, scraping a floor and painting over spackle. Today I was pulling up weeds and bleaching a floor. The collage was a nice place to rest. It's not surprising I guess that the result was a peaceful rabbit, quietly munching on a bit of green.

Thank you @yaziris for the rabbit's food. That single plant has lent itself to so many uses in my collages.

Thank you, @seckorama for the beautiful rainbow! The pictures of your dog are I think the best of yours (to me!🐕) on LIL, but the rainbow was really stunning, also :)

For the rabbit I have to thank myself, and my husband for going with me to the garden where we saw this fine animal.

I used Paint, Paint 3D and GIMP to size, layer and manipulate the different layers in my final GIF. The animation is quite subtle and was accomplished with the help of the blend filter on GIMP.

Making collages is a creative exercise and a learning experience. Every time I manipulate an image I pick up new skills.
