Evil is anything that deprives a man of good and with all the good that money can do, do you actually believe that money is the root of all evil? The bible puts it this way, "the love of money is the root of all evil" in other words, "Radix malorum est cupiditas" which means "greed is the root of all evil". Greed is a great lust for the acquisition of excess worldly satisfaction- defines the 7 attributes of human imperfection. Greed according to this book is the number four attribute of human imperfection. Greed doesn't necessarily always have to do with money, it could be any other material satisfaction. We are all guilty of having a desire to be prosperous, that is fine because it is innate but the love of material wealth is acquired and is only learnt in this world. when we love and desire in our possession material wealth, we tend to expand our scope on how to get it. The desire builds up fast and the legitimate means to getting such a desire becomes a slow process. We then exploit new and quicker ways to get these desires and they eventually drives us to do evil- evil because someone has to loose painful for your gain.

Greed is an endless desire, that's what makes it so evil. You can never stop wanting and the only time it ceases is in death. It is a powerful force capable of turning all manner of men evil and shouldn't be adopted in our lives for any reason.
