In this video, I respond to a video on my YouTube channel regarding whether or not items and spells should be consumables. Many of the other products created on land (midnight potions, fortune marks, etc) are all consumables, so naturally it might make a little sense for items and spells to be consumable as well. That being said, if these are to be usable cards forever, I think it is fine for them to be permanent as new sets will continue to come out over time. Land will still create many consumables in other areas but the cards themselves can be ones that are time based in the sense that they can only be created during the course of the set they are associated with.
