Greetings!
While looking at the possibilities of improving my deck by changing 1-3 cards, I made a significant overhaul of my deck by ditching all my confused wild creatures because they sometimes derail my plan by attacking different targets instead of the intended one. Gone were Bladefly, Black Jaguar, and Falling Star (which summons confused Badgers). Also, I changed my god power from Animal Bond to Selena's Mark.
With the change, I was able to breach SOLAR GOLD and stayed for more than three days in Auric Gold (new record) before being relegated to Midnight. And with the changes I am now able to beat a good Magic deck provided that my starting hand is consisting of Nightleaf Hunter, Vanguard Axewoman, Canopy Barrage, and any 2-3 mana card from my deck.
Using the deck that I overhauled I was able to win more than 50% of my matches.
And without further ado, here are the gameplay of this edition of Daily Play & Earn...
Victory #1 - versus Control Deception
My first match is again a Deception deck. My starting hand is consisting of Nightleaf Hunter, Canopy Barrage, Iron-tooth Goblin, and Agrodor Border Guard. On my first turn, I played Nightleaf Hunter. My opponent hit it with Orpeo's Distraction. On my second turn, I played Agrodor Border Guard. In response, my opponent played Umber Arrow. On my third turn, I played Iron-tooth Goblin since most Deception decks are not using relic removal cards. On my fifth turn, I played Vanir Lion. After my turn, I was able to reduce the hp of my opponent's god to 17. At 5.5 mana I further made the god hp of my opponent to 11. At six mana turn, I was able to clear the board of my opponent which leads my first victory.
Victory #2 - versus Wild Nature
My second victory on this edition of daily play & earn is against another Nature deck. At three mana I was able to retain my three creatures on the board while my opponent has none. On my third turn, I played Canopy Barrage so that I can clean the board of my opponent. At the end of my turn, I got two creatures on the board while my opponent has none. And again at the end of my turn, I still got two creatures on my board while my opponent has none. In response, my opponent played revivification which put me at a slight disadvantage. At the start of the 5.5 mana turn, I was able to clear the board of my opponent which proves to be the turning point of the game on my way to another victory.
Victory #3 - versus Control Death
In this match, I am going first but a bad starting hand forced me to not play any card from my hand. To my surprise, my opponent was also not able to play any cards. On my second turn, I played Vanguard Axewoma. At three mana turn, I got five mana cards on my board. At the end of the third turn, I was able to retain two of my creatures on the board. At the end of the fourth turn, I got three creatures on the board while my opponent has none. But in response, my opponent summoned 1/1 Impling which filled the board. At the start of the fifth turn, I got three creatures on my board while my opponent has none. At the end of the sixth turn, I got three creatures on the board while my opponent has one. At 6.5 mana I was able to build a wall of four creatures on the board. At the end of 6.5 mana, I got four creatures on the board while my opponent has one. At the start of the seventh turn, I was able to reduce the hp of my opponent's god to 11. And it proves to be the turning point of the game giving me another victory.
Victory #4 - versus Aggro Nature
This match is against another Aggro Nature deck. My starting hand in this match is consisting of two Vanguard Axewoman, Iron-tooth Gobline, and Canopy Barrage. I played one Vanguard Axewoman on my first turn. On my second turn, I played my second Vanguard Axewoman. At three mana I was able to retain the three of them after the match. At the end of the five-mana turn, I was able to build a wall of six creatures on the board while my opponent has none. At 5.5 mana I got five creatures on the board while my opponent has none. And it proved to be the turning point of the game giving me another victory.
Victory #5 - versus Control Nature
My starting hand for this match is consisting of Agrodor Border Guard, Dagan, and Moonlight Charm. I played Axewoman on my first turn, and my opponent passed. At the end of two mana turn, I was able to retain two creatures from my board while my opponent has none. At three mana I played Moonlight Charm. At the end of the third turn, I was able to clear the board of my opponent. At four mana turns, I was able to buff my Agrodor Border Guard to 4/6. At the five-mana turn, I played Dagan. After the fifth turn, I was able to retain two creatures on my board while my opponent has one. At the start of the 5.5 mana turn, I was at a disadvantage since my opponent got four creatures on the board while I got none, at the end of the 5.5 mana turn I got Agrodor Border buffed to 10/8, and it proved to be the turning point of the game giving me my fifth victory.
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
