In recent times, the evolution of artificial intelligence has made almost every simple task simpler and difficult task simpler to handle. Both in corporate levels and unofficial settings, everyone seems to enjoy the benefits coming from the evolvement of AI and advancement of technology as a whole.
A few weeks ago on a weekend, I made a post about how I made a beautiful frontpage magazine with the help of AI and on a normal ground, it could have been done with the creative mindset as a graphic designer but there are two things at stake; the time consumption to design that magazine frontpage, getting that exact design would be a bit much and most especially since I am not a pro in the profession.
Secondly, there is a probability that I may not be able to come up with such beautiful and perfect design at the end of it all.
Now, see how AI came in through it all and made it all simpler to handle.
I've seen people with tasking roles using AI to lessen their workloads, especially those in roles of executive virtual assistant, HRs and the likes.
The fearful part that is raising concerns now is if AI will end up dominating the world of humans in a way that nobody will be able to create anything on their own and there will be no rights to own any original creativities anymore.
There is one thing I've always been saying when it comes to topics on AI, technology as a whole. Innovations will come. The ones that may not pass the testing phase and the ones that will come to stay, live and evolve alongside us and no matter how effective these things may be, they still require human input because they are not innovated to think on their own.
Our creativity still have to come in place, prompting these models to recreate what we alone created in our heads or minds and we should know better that, for we to end up bringing this to life through the help of the AI then it takes a form of brainstorming, high intelligence and creativity to do that.
These innovations make our world very easy and making it seem like we are losing our touch to someone who feels that we need to always do things on our own no matter what advancement technology may bring but the fact remains that the usefulness of these innovations is to lessen the stress and workload of human. The only caution is for us as humans not to totally dependent on these models.
Just like an instance I gave some time ago, about an HR who uses AI to draft her emails, or even sort whatever writing documents she may be in need of but then she feels so lazy to crosscheck whatever the AI gives back to her as result. All she does was to copy and paste into the body of the email until the day she copied both her prompt to the AI along with the result, and sent it to the recipient of her proposed email. Funny enough,it was a rejection email sent to an applicant.
Such act is what we should be careful about. It is not a crime and not bad that we make use of AI but it becomes bad when we are failing to do our own part and just want to leave everything on AI to solve either it's gonna embarrass us at the end of the day or not.
Whatever shift AI is bringing, it is of a positive one, enough to make our creativities more in-depth and diversify to the heights we couldn't have thought of getting to. Only that we as humans should be the ones to maintain our habits of usage and dependency.
