Coming together again in a group with people whom you've seen years back, so long that the resemblance from the last face you saw in the past years you were together with them is the only leftover you were able to see in recognizing them. Some who have a new and different personality to how you use to know them to be in the past and some who are still very more like how you use to know them to be.
Reunion attimes does not come with a simple get-together of long time friends, colleagues or alumni alone but at times I see this reunion of a thing as an avenue to show off achievements and mock failures amongst themselves and this is not just because I'm writing about it but based on what I've heard people say about reunions.
I've seen people get loan to look good, appear exquisite and expensive just to prove to their old friends that they are now living a very better life. For what purpose? I may not be able to answer for them but genuinely talking about reunions, it should be one of the best gatherings that will give some vibes you all missed but based on experience, it has sometimes been a kind of drama.
However, if I were to be in a place with my old childhood friends and classmates, I am very sure and certain that we would have a lovely and fun filled day but might have some drama included. We would have the whole time to remind ourselves about many of what happened in the past and joke about it even if it wasn't funny back then.
Times when general punishment will make the whole class suffer for one person's offense whom we decided to make anonymous, people who dated themselves and got heartbroken or girls who kept fighting over a male prefect. I am so sure that we will have a lot of time laughing out loud with lot of those memories coming back steadily through one person or the other.
Some memories that will end up reopening some past wound and the room might probably be silent or turns out to be a new fresh misunderstanding scene just like one of the reunions of my secondary school friends. Luckily I wasn't there.
The duration of the liveness may not be guaranteed because we are of different nature, background, upbringing and wth different life experience that has reshaped us, now coming together after a long time of seeing one another in the same room for hours.
You know it's a different thing that we have just a day to be together where we can still shy off any odd feelings to cope with our differences just for the fun and not like comparing it to getting one another's contact and trying hard to catch-up just like old times even when it's obvious that some had moved off or past it.
In summary, reunion will surely reignite what had once occured as memories that will bring laughter and lousy expressions in the atmosphere and it's certain that it will stay for a long time or even last till the end of the gathering, creating another set of memories of that day, which may prompt some to think that they can still connect with old friends like as of old.
