Little by little we are approaching the time of the year where everywhere becomes rosy and noisy, hotels are booked, parks will be filled, cinemas will be booked daily with rate of crowd not decreasing, markets clumsy like everyone from the world were pushed out of their homes.
What makes this period of the year like that is basically because most people are given break from work depending on the nature of their works, children are on school break for the festive season, and probably business owners alone are left to stretch their working hours and days with no holiday alongside the medical practitioners and bankers.
We have people who would have had their reservations done already for themselves, family and loved ones but in the course of writing on this prompt, I'm talking about myself. Like, what's my plan for this coming holiday or festive season?
If I will be sincere I have no plans right now, to go anywhere, visit any place, take anyone, or be taken. You know when you have a blank paper before you in an exam hall when you're supposed to have had some writings in it already even if it's just a few lines of the first page. At least feel like a human and a living soul, lol.
Not like I've never had some places marked in my head in this location where I am that I've always wish I can tour them and have a nice treat with my family someday but you know the situation when you have nice ideas in your head but you're not financially capable to bring it to life and existence, you just have to keep dreaming about it.
However, God willing, as there is nothing impossible before him in just a blink of an eye, and I am able to get the capacity no matter how limited it may be, I'll just need to bring my encrypted ideas to the world of planning to execute it and I'll be sharing some of them now.
Some of my plans will be to make the children around me enjoy their holiday to the fullest by mapping out days we go to game house, capturing every fun moments they have with them. There's this other side of children when they get to see or do something they've always been doing in a different light or realm. So I can't wait to see those expressions and their actions after which we can visit places to eat unlike the regular FoodCo, chickenrep or item7. There are some places here in Ibadan whereby you don't get to enjoy just food alone but the view of nature around makes it a kind of special place to be.
And lately, I heard there is a beach in Ibadan, like wow. I have plans on visiting and see if it's a real beach or passerby water but my overall plan is having our house stock with food stuffs and groceries of any kind and proteins of different type, such that myself, family or any needy person around me can have a blissful period of celebration.
A filled stomach is sometimes a fulfilled world.
