Hi guys enjoy this
How to become a man
.
Some boys listened to the wind
went and never returned-
like my brother did.
.
He's now a man
Somewhere in a foreign land.
He sent a note last night
I read and bore a hole
In my tongue.
.
Boys don't seek home
In their father's house
.
He said:
"If you wake early everyday
And you let eagles build nests on your shoulder
You'll catch up with your dreams.
Then you can find yourself a girl
And make her a woman.
If she's fertile, she'll give you a daughter
If not,be patient with her but don't waste your time
Search till you find the flesh of your bone
Cut your teeth on diamond rings
She'll wear the sparkles on her lips.
You have a wife and a daughter
You have become a man"
.
Boys don't seek home
In their father's house
.
I'm leaving for the city tomorrow
