Welcome back, friends of the @theanimerealm community! Today it's time to draw Light Yagami, aka Kira, one of the best characters in Death Note.

The process begins by establishing the guidelines and the initial sketch of Light Yagami's face, including his characteristic expression and hairstyle. This phase lays the foundation for the composition, then I proceed to draw more defined lines, using only a fine-point pencil, to create the final outline of the character, including the hair, eyes, and clothing. Initial layers of shading are applied to key areas, such as the character's light skin tone, the hairstyle, and the dark color of his uniform. Depth is added to the illustration through darker shading to create shadows and volume in the hair, under the chin, and in the folds of the clothing. Highlights are also applied to highlight certain areas, giving a stunning effect.

El proceso comienza estableciendo las líneas guía y el boceto inicial del rostro de Light Yagami, incluyendo su característica expresión y peinado. Esta fase sienta las bases de la composición, después procedo a trazar líneas más definidas, usando solo lápiz de punta fina, para crear el contorno final del personaje, incluyendo el cabello, los ojos y la ropa. Se aplican las capas iniciales de sombras para las áreas principales, como el tono de piel claro del personaje, el escurecido de su cabello, y el color oscuro de su uniforme. Se añade profundidad a la ilustración a través de sombreado más oscuro para crear sombras y volumen en el cabello, bajo la barbilla, y en los pliegues de la ropa. También se aplican toques de luz para destacar ciertas áreas, lo que da un efecto increíble.
