Greetings to the entire community of Steemit, today I bring you a visit I have made to several Cultural Heritage in the central part of my city.

Beginning to walk along Calle 99 Comercio, we have at the center of that sector the great Hotel Victoria, which opened in 1940, being one of the modern hotels that the city enjoyed. In the Alfredo Sadel stayed among other celebrities.

While walking through Plaza Baralt and passing through the front of Casa McGregor (at that time it was the 1st department market), I found some vendors who give life to this square every day offering their products, prepared by themselves as rich empanadas, the refreshing cepillado, among others.

Now, I arrived at the Convent of San Francisco de Asís, a building that in the 1600s had enormous candelabra and rustic walls painted white; It was a church that became a schooll and then the first University of the city of Maracaibo in 1891. At that time, 402 students enrolled in the careers of Law, Philosophy and Medicine. But it only lasted 13 years imparting teaching since in 1904 it was decreed its closure by the dictator Cipriano Castro.

Actually, it was a very meaningful and enriching walk, because I know the history of Cultural Heritage that are more than four centuries old.
