Even though water seems like it's everywhere, the water we can use is actually a tiny bit. So water should be used wisely so there can be enough for everyone and in nature too.
As the human population and the number of industries increases, more water which are not enough for human use are being consumed. There is not enough fresh water for use.
Everyone need to make conscious effort to conservation water as a precious resource even in little ways.
Every drop counts. Follow the following advise and help protect our water
REUSE WATER
I am a Nigeria. I know some live in big cities where water is running in the house and they use it as they like. But even at that, can you reuse water?
For example, the water used in rinsing clothes, my old Mother would use it for flushing or washing the floor . If you can use yours for other things, please do.😃
Washing machine is a very good opportunity to waste water. I don't know the type you have, but the water used for rinsing before the clothes are packed into the spinning compactment, why do you let it go through the pipe? If the water is clean, we can put a bucket and get out that clean water. It could be used for flushing or washing more clothes.😃
USE WISELY.
I don't know how you bathe, but why open the shower all through? When rubbing soap on your sponge, especially if you are not under the shower, why open open it?
My husband gets into the bathroom to wash his hands, the first thing he does is to open the tap at the sink even before looking for soup. That, I tell him is improper.
Even at the garden, do not give the plants a water bathe. Spray just what is needed. An extra wastage will not make the plant fresher. That's if it doesn't kill it, even.

AVOID WATER POLLUTION
During rainy days, some people toss garbage into gutters, thinking that the rain will wash it away. However, this careless act has a detrimental impact. The refuse is flushed into our rivers and oceans, causing pollution that harms aquatic life and ecosystems
GOVERNMENT POLICIES
Policies regarding the proper use of water can be drawn. The Government can regulate water resource allocation to different sectors, set water pricing based on usage, which encourages consumers to be mindful of water consumption, ration water and also investments on building more dams and water reservoirs.
By being mindful of our daily actions and choices, we can collectively make a positive impact on water conservation and pollution prevention. Let's take small steps each day individually and collectively to protect this invaluable natural resource resource and ensure a healthier future for our planet. Let's not forget that every drop of water, counts.
There are other ways to conserve and ensure the water that is not enough for man's use is preserved. However, this is the much I can write, the deadline is almost up. This is my entry into @samsmith1971's WOTW contest for August. Thanks
@samsmith1971 for your resilience.
