Spaghetti, Quadri e Insalatina (ITA/ENG)

ENG - Art in the pub
The streets that lead into the bowels of the historic center of the big cities are teeming with places where, in the evening, young people usually listen to music while sipping a beer. Among the tables set up in restaurants, old taverns or trendy pubs, in recent times they have found their exhibition space both photographs and works of graphic art and even paintings. Displaying in similar environments necessarily involves a minimalist set-up focusing exclusively on the ability of the works to attract the interest of even distracted visitors. Often the artists decide to accompany with a short explanatory text the vision of the exhibition, other times to the visitors, during the observation of the works, are suggested some verses that constitute a integral part. Proper selection of background music also helps to create the "right" atmosphere. The art "in trattoria" is certainly a courageous proposal and deserves great respect. In fact, however, the exhibitions set up in these environments carry some risk for works that can absorb bad smells, stain with some splashes of sauce and withstand temperatures too high. To appropriately appreciate an exhibition, all things considered, they turn out to be the most suggestive in the fascinating traditional exhibition rooms.
