Hello,
Trust your week is going great.
Just as Martin Luther king, everyone has a dreams. So do we all have ideas!
There is no person alive that isn't filled with dreams, goals and ideals
Dreams are nothing but the thoughts and ideas of one’s mind
I sometimes ask my friends and people I meet about their dreams. Some willingly describe it with great detail and enthusiasm. Others are reluctant to talk about it. Some seem embarrassed to say it out loud.
These people have never tested their dream. They don’t know if others will laugh at them. They’re not sure if they’re aiming too high or too low. They don’t know if their dream is something they can really achieve or if they’re destined to fail.
Call it whatever, small dreams, big dreams, easy dreams, hard dreams, but they are all the same. Many of us have the kind of big dreams that involves becoming rich and famous, changing the world, starting a business enterprise, or even becoming the president of your country.
It doesn't really matter what your dream is, but what matters is that you have it
Dreams are something that you can work for, your one true goal.
You must believe that you can achieve your dream, that if, you dedicate yourself, your time and your resource, all for this one dream, you will reach your goal.
Are You Ready to Put Your Dream to the Test?
OK, now you have identified your dreams, aspirations and Ideas.
So what Next? How can I know start achieving it?
7 Things You Can Do Now To Get Closer To Your Dreams!
1: Don't keep it a Secret
One reason many dreams never go anywhere is because the dreamer keeps it all to himself .The people who manifest what they want are those who share what they have thought about with others. It's pretty simple, but we can underestimate the power of repeatedly verbalizing what we want to create to as many people as possible. You don't have to ask for anything; just share your goal. If it lights you up, then others will be inspired by that, and they will support you however they can. You'll stay inspired, too! — Beth Buelow, ‘The Introvert Entrepreneur’
2: Track Your Progress
It's tempting to hope others will recognize and reward your work — or better still, your "potential." It's more effective to take responsibility for your progress by tracking your accomplishments and weaving your own narrative of success. Record your contributions and achievements so you're clear about what you have to offer. Don't wait for someone else to shine their light on you. — Kim Eisenberg, Kim Eisenberg Consulting
3: Plan and Execute
Every dream must take the form of a plan combined with action. Your dream won’t just happen. You need to sit down, on a regular basis, and plan out your strategy for achieving the dream. Think through all of the details. Break the whole plan down into small, workable parts. Then set a time frame for accomplishing each task on your “dream plan.” This will keep you engaged and on track while allowing the universe to do its work and send you those signs that will guide you in each moment. — Monique Catoggio, Florida International University
4: Make time out to meet people, in other words Network!
Meeting people, having relationships and established connections is so key. Attend events and conferences, on that flight don’t stay quiet, engage people in meaningful conversations. You can never tell who might take interest in helping you develop your dream.
’I recommend spending 30 minutes two or three times a week on networking either on the phone, via web video or over coffee’. — Jessica Miller-Merrell, Blogging4Jobs
5: Develop the Necessary skills/Knowledge you will need
The best way to create the change you want is to embody it. Start acquiring knowledge about your dream/aspiration. Learn the skills you will require and focus on developing them. If you don't know where to begin, reach out to someone successful doing something similar and ask them to mentor you.—Rey Castellanos, Feed Your Wolf
6: Take Advantage of Opportunities while they are available
Sometimes these opportunities can show up overtly while at other times they can be hidden. Opportunities can presents itself in form of a promotion on your job, advance to a more lucrative career, getting a business deal or even business funding you have desired. A lot of individuals miss out on great opportunities because they have not made the necessary preparations to step through the door when it opens.
7: Work for it and enjoy it
While the rest of the world is chilling on their sofas and watching Blank Panther and Infinity Wars, achievers are working on their goal—achieving their dream. If you work on it each day, eventually you will achieve your dream.
When you have reached your goal and you are living your dream, be sure to enjoy it. In fact, enjoy the trip, too. Give yourself some rewards along the way. Give yourself a huge reward when you get there. Help others enjoy it. Be gracious and generous. Use your dream to better others.
But don’t stop dreaming, dream a little bigger this time!
