Some years ago, I had advice from my mother to do something; actually, it was more of a plea than advice, but as a child who has a mind of her own and is quite obstinate, I declined and did my own wish to the best of my understanding. You might want to know the outcome of my own wish.
Yes, I got burned from doing my own wish in my own understanding, and two years later I went back to doing the same thing my own mother advised, and though it was quite late but still amenable, there I realized that do not lean in your own understanding, don’t be too wise to reject the views of others, but sift all advice and project the consequences, then proffer the best solution, and don’t be too FAST to see your decision as the best.
Life itself is a teacher, as it makes you go through experiences that sharpen your life. Over the years, I have learned to walk my own path at my own pace. I have seen and encountered people whose paths are smooth and whose paces are fast. Though it’s an encouragement when I see others, especially around me, win, and yeah, I don’t deny them the accolades they deserve, it has never been a reason for me to want to try it out because I have always believed we have a different destiny.
Another lesson life has taught me is that goodness doesn’t accompany goodness; it is a fallacy to believe that because you are good, good things must happen to you. Common, my dear, the good ones get burned more, Life just throws its shades at you and you struggle with it and ask yourself questions that numb not your hands but your soul altogether life is that way, sweetheart😘.
Finally, I have learned to be my number one fan, my own cheerleader, cause no one sees your struggle they want to see results that they feel come out of the blues or you just got lucky, celebrate yourself, appreciate every little win, respect every step you have taken and every stage you at is a leap to the next stage, learn, grow, cry but don’t remain in that stage, keep learning and growing.
One of the most important lessons I've learned in Life is*** PATIENCE***. Yes, patience, understanding patience, practicing patience, and being prepared while patient We know patience is the ability to wait for something significant to happen to one or in one's life, but having the right attitude during this phase is somewhat of a test for most humans.
Life is a continuous stage, and I am still living life and I am still learning, more lessons to be learned, and more experiences to get, in order to be able to say more about all of these lessons. Until I get another opportunity to talk about LIFE, I am still the same adetemi😘
