Mount Bromo is a volcano that is still active and most famous as a tourist attraction in East Java. As a tourist attraction, Mount Bromo became interesting because of its status as an active volcano.
Mount Bromo is not only known by the people of Indonesia, but has become a tourist visit agenda for the world community. Never deserted from the tourists visit, even they feel at home for days stay there.
Passing the stairs to the top of Mount Bromo to watch the sunrise is not too much. But playing with the gaping open mouth and then crawling down to set bare feet in the frozen magma to carve the name and then perpetuate it, perhaps only be done in Bromo not elsewhere.
Mount Bromo is in the area of nature conservation Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) and is the most spectacular National Park and most easily visited by other National Parks in Indonesia which lies between 1,000 - 3,676 meters above sea level. The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area is in a series of volcanic mountains that is one of the large mountain ranges stretching along Java Island. In the northern part of the Tengger mountains there is a very beautiful and attractive Tengger caldera, its diameter reaches 8-10 kilometers, while its steep walls hang between 200-700 meters.
