Have you ever been heart broken? Yes, I was yesterday, it was a bad experience 馃槳
How it started;
I got a job to teach chemistry in an high school 2 months ago and I was posted to another town which is about 98km away from where I am living, my comfort zone but, I have an uncle who is also a lecturer in one of the institution in that town so, I decided to stay with him since I only have classes to take 3 times in a week so, I would leave my house on Monday to work and after schooling hour, sleep over at his house for the time been and return on Wednesday to my house.
So, yesterday which was Monday, I left my house to work, the bus I boarded developed a fault along the way and we had to take another bus to our destination, the new bus was just as fast as a snail 馃槀馃槀馃槀
So, I decided to call my uncle to inform him I'm on my way but I'll be going to the school first before coming home as I was already running late only for him to tell me he's out of town and would not be back till after 3 days 馃槩馃挃
Yes, I felt weak, was sad and heartbroken about his response and all I could think of was "where will I sleep?" as I really don't have so much money on me, I left my credit card at home and... 馃槾馃槾馃槾
I got to school and after I was done with my teaching for the day, I decide to take my leave so, I told one of my colleagues that I was leaving she decided to see me off to the gate as she thought I was sick...
Of course, I was looking sick 馃槪 while walking down, I narrated to her how the bus I boarded broke down along the way, how I called my uncle to tell him I'll be coming home after school closing hour and the shocking response I received 馃檨 and why I'm leaving so early to sort out my accommodation issue...
We ain't that close, we are colleagues at work and no more so, I wasn't even thinking of putting up with her this week but guess what?
Oh! Yes, you guessed right, She accommodated me
And that was how she saved my day, what a blessed Soul.
