"Not only that, our students are also noted for their high moral probity both within and outside the school. We believe that a good education must stress the importance of discipline and that exactly is what we do here. it is part of our responsibility is to make you become good and law-abiding citizens of this nation. It is when you are discipline that you can be useful to yourself to your parent and to the nation. "

" Now to the need for this orientation. One of the reasons is to make you familiar with some of your obligations as student. As a student, you must come to school early must attend money assembly be present for every lesson and listen attentively to your teachers in class. you must understand that this is a high school it is different from your primary school. Here, in high school you can have as many teachers as possible coming to the class to teach you different subject. it is on like the primary school where you have one or two teachers teaching you all the subjects. and this explains why you have to take time to study each of your teachers to know them very well I am sure you will love them all."

Mrs. Ibironke paused. Then she continue. Again you may be given additional duty either as a class Captain or a prefect, make sure you perform your duties very well and on time you may be punished if you fail to do so.

"Finally, I must not end this page without making reference to the geographical location of the school. B. C. H. S is unique in its location in that towards the north is a federal university and down south is a reform School. To the east is a prison and to the west is a psychiatric hospital. I like joy and admiration from this location as occasions demands so that students can learn one or two lessons from it.

'who can tell me what university is? '
A lot of hands went up. There were snatches of voices saying 'I'. Some even jumped up.

'You! ' Mrs. Ibironke pointed to a girl who sat in the front row. 'first, your name, ' she added quickly.

'my name is Becky Okafor'. A university is a high school where one goes after secondary school to study for a degree.

'clap for her! What is a reform School? '
There was no hand that was raised. The student were ignorant of that.
'who knows? ' Mrs Ibironke asked again.

then a stout and fair skin boy stood up quietly and all eyes turned to him .

'yes what is it? '
' it is a special school where young people who have broken the law are sent to' the boy answered intelligently.

'Excellent! Come on, clap for him! ' Mrs. Ibironke said excitedly.

The student all clapped excitedly. the principal and everybody at the table were impressed and I got the boy must be exceptionally brilliant.

'what is your name? '
'Seyi Kelani'
