I remember when thieves invaded our house as a child, my mum just bought a new school bag for me. I couldn't wait to get to school on Monday morning, because of my new bag. but that very day thieves broke into our house and stole everything. At midnight they had not spotted my new school bag but as I was praying for them not to see my bag that was when their boss told them to pick up the bag I had been cherishing all day.
As they took my bag I thought of what to say to convince them to leave my bag for me, so I wanted to show them a form of respect, that was when I mistakenly said, "Mr. Thief, please leave my bag for me. Please laugh away your sorrow.

Comedy helps to deal with tough times, it's a form of soothing balm. It's a weapon for maintaining good health. Mental health professionals cited plenty of reasons why laughter is a medicine. Today we are all going to laugh away our sorrows.
I remember a greedy taxi driver who had been working all day but he had not picked up any passengers.
This made him resort to charging the few passengers he picked exorbitantly because he had set some target for himself, he continued to do this but he couldn't meet up with his target till it was midnight. This taxi driver continued to look for more money till he decided to go to the airport to look for passengers who may have arrived late so he could meet his target. When he got to the airport road he came in contact with a woman, he charged the woman so exorbitantly that the woman told him to go.
This greedy taxi driver continued with his pursuit till he saw a man who was also waiting for the taxi. He negotiated with the man but his charges were on the high side so the man refused to go with the taxi.
Then at exactly 12:30 am, he came to Ridge Road, near the cemetery just from the airport. That was when he saw three men standing beside the road waiting for a taxi. This taxi driver quickly pulled over to pick up the three men. The three men agreed to pay the exorbitant charges demanded by the greedy taxi driver. They started the journey to their destination, as they continued the journey, the three men picked up by the taxi driver started a conversation:

The first man: I died in 1992 when my wife and I picked up a fight, I was cheating on her with my household, and my wife caught me in the very act one faithful day, she got mad and hit me on the head with a beer bottle, that was how I died that very year at the Mobil hospital in Lagos.

The Taxi driver who was hearing their conversation became very terrified.

The second man: I died in 1995 at the war front because I was a military man. I was later buried in a grand style by the men of the Nigerian army, at the Brigade cemetery.

After the taxi driver heard the ordeal of the second man he started sweating profusely because he knew he was in for trouble.

The third man: I was a faithful man, I never cheated on my wife but I died in a ghastly car accident when I was going back home from work, I wanted to get home early to see my wife and two children, a boy and a girl, because we love ourselves very well. but that very day in 1998 I died on the spot, I was buried in one of my mansions at Ibadan.

The Taxi driver who was already urinating in his pants, decided to frame up a lie to escape these ghosts. He couldn't believe his eyes, that he had picked up ghosts at Ridge Road near the airport. He then switched off the car engine and told the three men to help him push the car since the car wasn't moving. As the three men started pushing the car, the taxi driver sped off. Greed is not a financial issue. It’s a heart issue. – Andy Stanley. Let's stop being greedy.
