The story tells of two women who were the first day of the week, in this Gospel Mary Magdalene and the other Mary who is the mother of James and Joseph are two of the same women who according to Matthew's Gospel witnessed death and the burial of Jesus, these women went to the sepulcher that according to Matthew had been secured by a seal on the stone that covered it and was protected by a guard. According to Matthew's account, the women could not have gone to anoint the body of Jesus because he had already been anointed and because access to the body was impossible due to the sealed stone and the guard. Matthew is clear in his narrative and defends the disciples against the charges that were they who stole the body of Jesus and invented the story of the resurrection. An angel descends from the sky and removes the stone that blocked the tomb of Jesus and sits on it causing an earthquake in the process, the angel announces to women the great event that has occurred JESUS
HAS RESURRECTED, in addition to telling the women that Jesus has risen, shows them the grave that is empty and sends them to tell the disciples that Jesus has risen, while the women are afraid and great joy to the guards are so afraid that they almost die.
Jesus appears to them as women and gives them instructions similar to those of the angel tells them not to be afraid, to give the news of the resurrection to the disciples and to go to Galilee to meet him, the reaction of women in front of Jesus was different from the reaction they had before the angel because they approached hugging their feet and worshiping him.

Resurrection means coming back to life.
Our gospel is primarily based on the resurrection of Christ since the resurrection of Christ is the seal of the gospel in which you and I are.
The resurrection has a supernatural power since we do not believe by the crucifixion, we believe by the resurrection because Jesus came to show us that there is a God who can do everything.
Importance of the resurrection:

The resurrection of Jesus Christ means that we will be resurrected just like him, the bible says that the dead in Christ will rise first and those who have stayed will be caught up together with Christ in the clouds.
