The art of redirection of passion can be a very powerful tool attempting to execute plans. The way to obtain satisfaction from your career or line of work is to provide service and value to the community. In this way you will receive passion and satisfaction from reaching this goal. This is opposed to following your passion and failing to provide adequate service and value to your community, consequently failing to receive financial rewards.
This would be the classic road of following I want to be a pop star or I want to be an Olympic gold medalist. If these are you aims then ask yourself the questions what is the likelihood of achieving these ends. Do I have the right skills and contacts to make it happen? Should I take the risk of putting all my eggs in this one basket?
If your answer is yes then by all means peruse your dreams. If the answer is no then my advice is to look at careers or lines of work that can provide value to the community you may not love every aspect of what you do and it may not directly be your main passion in life. However you have a great chance of finding satisfaction and perhaps happiness in being able to provide valuable services to the members of communities wherever they may be.
Naturally if you are successful in finding a way to achieve this you will be paid to do so and we all know that money can give us more comfortable lifestyles and open up opportunities to have fun and do things we enjoy doing. In addition to this once you find a way to acquire an honest living you will have access to savings. These saving can be professionally invested.
