It depends on what type of mental health issue you want to focus on as there are certain disorders that are more common in women than men and vice versa. Psychosis by itself is also broad as you can have those symptoms while the underlying problem can be caused by something medical like thyroid problems, stroke, and seizure just to name a few. The most common I've seen often mistaken as psychosis are seizure disorders and stroke initially presenting as behavioral changes that require psychiatric intervention than medical.
