Hello lovely Hiveans !

Today I would like to participate in the Reflection Hunters Contest that is hosted by @annephilbrick - I chose a picture of a water reflection for this purpose. It s a reflection that was recorded during the night walk of 3 lantern heads in a water puddle - I hope you like it 😉

The Story Behind the Reflection

A few days ago I went out for a extended and quite long night walk. Also night walks are nothing that usually suit to a the vast majority of people, I am kind of a big fan of them ... When the streets and roads are deserted, when there are no cars and other people around, and you are the only person out there the whole time, it creates a feeling of serenity and comfort that helps really a lot if you are planning to sink deep inside your head for a thoughtful night. This, combined with a couple of beer on the way, is nearly something that comes close to a meditative state ... 🚶🚶🚶

I was already quite a while outside and back on the way home, having thought about life and my situation within ot up to date. I am still experiencing the aftermath of my last, and second, shoulder operation and cant move my left arm well yet, which really annoys me. In addition I still have not found a new job yet, but already completely depleted my bank account. Overall, I was in a rather depressive mood and had my had and eyes hanging down to the ground a bit. This is when I discovered this scenery here 😲

As you can see, it was not only a night dark out there, but also rained for a while before I ventured onto my night walk. This kind of reflected my mood in a way. Seeing these three light balls being reflected now, popping out unexpected of the nothing, directly cheered me up. It reminded me instantly that all what seemed so depressing right now, is just a temporary circumstance and that all these things will pass and make place for a brighter future ... My shoulder will heal, a new job will come too in a while, and some coins will be there too, that I can finally spent to go out on a happy adventure with my family or my wife alone ... It was also so suiting that there were a total of three puddles present and three light balls appearing in the reflectio 😁

This scenery cheered me up instantly and left me in a happy, positive and optimistic mood for the whole rest of the way back home. I was sleeping really good and woke up the next morning with a big smile ... That is the magic of a beer accompanied meditative night walk. You have the time for sinking deep into your own mind, feelings and wishes, and experience it from many different angles during the course ... This picture of the reflection burned itself deep in my mind and I choose it for my motto of that night. I also like to dedicate this whole post and little story around this picture 🤗
