Equality of outcome, equality of condition, or equality of results is a political concept which is central to some political ideologies and is used regularly in political discourse, often in contrast to the term equality of opportunity. It describes a state in which people have approximately the same material wealth and income, or in which the general economic conditions of their lives are alike.

In theory, this is a wonderful idea. Everyone gets the same amount of everything, money, food, mates, achievements, everything.
On the surface it sounds like Marxism or Communism and these political philosophies use it.
We know these philosophies did not work as planned and will never work as planned.
There is a Law of Nature first discovered by Vilfredo Pareto. Often called Pareto's law or the 80 - 20 rule, it simply states that the 20% achieves 80% and the 80% accounts for only 20%.
This natural law can be applied to almost anything you can think of.
20% of a sales force will be responsible for 80% of the sales.
20% of a workforce will achieve 80% of the work.
80% of wealth is held by 20% of the population.
It can be applied to economics, agriculture, even how trees in a forest grow. Just about everything we can think of.
Why the Equality of Outcome is Dangerous
In our society today there seems to be a big push towards this idea that we are all equal.
This is a false assumption. We are not all equal.
We are all unique and different.
Back in 1865 Lewis Carroll wrote Alice In Wonderland. Many of you will know the story.
The Dodo
In order to get dry after a swim, the Dodo proposes that everyone run a Caucus race — where the participants run in patterns of any shape, starting and leaving off whenever they like, so that everyone wins.
This is an example of Equality of Outcome. There are no losers and everyone is a winner.
In a lot of schools today this is a concept that is being followed. Students perform a task of some kind, could be a math quiz or a 100 yard sprint race and instead of the winner receiving a gold star or a medal, everyone gets one. Even the overweight boy/girl that came in last or the boy/girl that doesn't understand math receive the same "prize".
These children grow up and become adults and venture out into the world after being conditioned their entire academic career that no matter how good or bad they are at their jobs they should receive an equal "prize".
You can see this happening politically in Canada with the Cabinet of the Liberal Party. They have a 50/50 split with 15 men and 15 women. Asked why he had such a split, Trudeau gave the insane answer that it was 2015. This is Equality of Outcome! It seems it doesn't matter how qualified a person is for the job at hand, it only matters that you have an equal amount of penises to vaginas.
An Aside:
The Hon. Maryam Monsef, minister of Status of Women, lied on her immigration/refugee papers, listing Afghanistan as her birthplace when, in actual fact, she was born in Iran. I have nothing against an immigrant/refugee coming to Canada and doing well. More power to them.
However, some poor shmuck that was trying to get into Canada and did the same thing as Monsef, would be deported.
The question then becomes, why she has not been deported as many have?
Perhaps it is because the Equality of Outcome would change and then Trudeau would have to find another vagina to fill her position?
In Conclusion
Equality of Outcome is an insidious way of thinking that is seeping into all aspects of our society.
Equality of Outcome is not based on merit, but rather, that we are all equal.
If this concept sweeps through and takes a hold on society we are all going to face a very miserable future.
It won't matter how innovative we are or what we can achieve or how hard we work to provide for our families we will never be able to reach our goals. Our goals will be the same for everyone. Imagine being an actor. There is no chance of becoming a "Star" and winning an Oscar for an outstanding role in a movie. Everyone is equal and everyone deserves the same outcome, an Oscar.
All I can say is, be careful and don't fall into this trap! Being forewarned is being forearmed.
