This is what I woke up to this morning. That is -25C or -13F
Looks like Monday it starts warming.

It's winter again in this part of the world and it has struck like a lion with thermometers plunging to record lows!
Winter is raging and city services are being pushed to the limit. In some cities there are so many cars that are stuck on the roads it is almost impossible to plow the streets. The rock salt many cities use to melt the ice doesn't work very well at these temperatures. Sharks are dying off the coast because their gills are freezing. Snow is piling up on the streets and people are stranded at home.
I am no stranger to cold weather having lived in Canada's arctic. I have been outside when the temperature hit -60F or -51C. It becomes hard to breath and your tears freeze your eyes shut. Uncovered skin freezes in seconds.

Yep! Sounds like global warming to me!

So what happened to global warming?

I have never believed in global warming. I believe it is made up by politicians to further their own agendas.
Even President Trump tweeted “In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record,” he wrote. “Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming.”

Yes. Yes we could, Mr. President!

In Canada, our Prime Minister, the jackass of the Liberal party and his climate conscious ministers have imposed a carbon tax against the will of the citizens. His agenda is well known. He wants a seat on the UN and he is using us to get it. It doesn't matter to him that there are now families that have a choice: Pay your mortgage or pay your energy bill, which is higher than some mortgages, or don't bother buying food (if there was any money left over) because you can't afford to cook it anyways.
Now, in January 1st, 2018 we are going to be hit with a 50% increase to the Carbon Tax. It is now at $20 a ton in Alberta and will be increasing to $30 per ton. Can you imagine what that is going to cost us? All fuels will be going up. This means transportation of goods are going up. Everything we buy from food to clothing to school supplies to household goods will be going up. Everything!
Now I wouldn't complain, except that the Liberals have done very little to offset these increases. Unemployment is at an all time high in Alberta. Since the Alberta government, the NDP, a socialist party, banned coal and brought in their own carbon tax they have managed to kill 400,000 jobs in the oil sector. We only have a population of about 4 million people in Alberta. 10% of the population is now unemployed. It wouldn't be so hard to swallow if it was over the course of a year or two, but what happened was that the unemployed had no new jobs to go to. The global warming wind swept over us so quickly, an ill conceived plan with no forethought whatsoever, and in the process of saving the rest of the world, Canada is suffering. It makes perfect sense if you think of it as Trudeaus first step in the globalization of Canada.
You have to understand, Justin Trudeau, our Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Party, is a huge Obama, Clinton, Castro and George Soros fan boy. Canadian tax payers are on the hook for billions of dollars that he has given his friends in high places.
Catherine McKenna, our Minister of Environment and Climate Change, also known as "Climate Barbie" here in Canada is a long time friend of the PM. She has no clue about climate change and just goes along with whatever is the most popular opinion of the day.

I have had enough of all this Climate Warming hysteria! It has done nothing to change the climate and it never will. All it has done is reduce the standard of living for me and many millions of other Canadians. So now I will turn the heat down, shut off the lights, put on some extra warm clothes and huddle by my computer. At least it is generating a little heat! Yep. It's going to be a long cold winter, folks! Stay warm!
