I Love The Christmas Season Because It's The Best Festival In The World
The Christmas season is a time of great celebration in the world and some non-Christians also take part. All businesses would have given their employees a break before Christmas, allowing a large number of people to participate in the celebration.
Some will take the chance to visit another nation, state, or any other beautiful place.
When I was a child, I used to daydream constantly about what the Christmas season would be like once it was December. I would be thinking about the kinds of clothes and shoes I would get for Christmas.
This time of the year is always a good time to receive money and gifts from my parents, uncles, and aunties. Even though I'm the last born in the family, I do receive many gifts. When I was still residing in my hometown at the time, some of my uncles who lived in the city would always buy new clothes and shoes for me whenever they visited for the Christmas holiday.
My siblings used to occasionally be envious of the present I received. My father would have purchased a large number of knockouts for us to blow on the eve of Christmas.
This was a great memory back then; you will be hearing knock-out sounds from every angle, and everyone will be in the spirit of Christmas.
On the day of Christmas, my siblings and I will travel by foot to visit some of our relatives who live both far and near and in the same town. We would have covered about 10km and we won't be tired during the trip, till we got home later at night. Despite that, we are in every location we visited and we wouldn't be filled up.
As an adult, this seems like magic to me, because I can no longer eat twice in a short period anymore.
Everyone we met gave us cash as a gift when we were leaving, and would keep the money secure until we got home and saved it in our money box.
Why I Love the Christmas Season
love the season because it's a time to spread kindness and love and exchange gifts with your loved ones. Businesses and government employees will offer their staff members Christmas presents, and some will give them bonuses so they may take advantage of the holiday.
I enjoy spending time with my relatives, nephews, siblings, and friends throughout the Christmas season.
We talk, laugh, and enjoy our time together as we get to see some of the family members who live far away and overseas.
This is a fantastic reason why I love the holiday season.
Sometimes I used to attend my high school reunions at this time of year, where I would catch up with old friends. We discussed our new lifestyles and remembered when we were younger. This inspires me to believe that Christmas is the world's greatest festival.
