When I was a child I studied in the afternoons and sometimes I couldn't watch my favorite shows, some of which were broadcasted when I was at school, others I could get to the school to watch them, if there wasn't much traffic when I came back from school, so you can imagine that I enjoyed them much more during my vacations.

I must honestly say that one of these shows did influence me because I believed that life could be that romantic or, at least, that was the part of the anime Candy Candy that marked me the most, forgetting everything else they showed us there.

So one of my favorite shows as I already mentioned was Candy Candy the Japanese anime that told us the life of Candy (Candice White) an orphan girl who was later adopted by a wealthy family and lived a lot of experiences, such as her first love The Prince of the Hill, the death of Antony and then an extremely toxic relationship with Terry, among other things.

But undoubtedly all the adventures of this girl were the passion of more than one in her childhood. She loved to listen to the music of her intro and sang it; in fact, as I write these lines, her first and characteristic sounds come to mind.

Another program that I loved, but I was able to watch it because it was broadcasted a little later, was Mazinger Z, which was also an anime, but what we call mecha genre, because it was about robots, as you can imagine, I was stunned to see the handsome and feisty Koji Kabuto and all the girls who watched the anime wished to be Sayaka, the battles of this robot were epic and see how as the chapters progressed each of the robots had improvement, it was great for me because he could defend himself better from evil robots.

As with Candy Candy the opening or intro of this anime for me was exciting to see the characters in different moments while waiting to see what the next chapter would bring or how would be the outcome of something that had been pending in the previous chapter, it was extremely exciting.

Last but not least is Inuyasha, this anime I also managed to watch sporadically, but I loved it and still do, the story of a boy half man half beast, traveling with a young time traveler and other companions including a cat named Kirara, all collecting fragments of a pearl and fighting against evil creatures, including the main antagonist Naraku.

At the time I watched these three anime I didn't know they were, but when I found out I knew I was a fan of them and as the internet was somewhat stable and gave us access to so many things I looked for a page to watch anime online and the first one I watched in full was Inuyasha.

In short, these were my favorite shows of my childhood and the ones that were the basis of my love for anime, thus culminates my participation in Ladies of Hive Community Contest #230
