Yay, it's Humpday :D
Well, its just the day that falls into the middle of the normie-work-schedule. But hey, any reason to celebrate is welcome here.
I also remembered there's a tag for this day, too: #wednesdaywalk. I mean, what I do here is more like #everydaywalk, but if there's a community for walk-walking on Wednesdays. I'm pleased to meet you. I do this every day, on Wednesdays, too.
So today's afternoon walk took me to the park on the outskirts of town. The first peculiar sight were these crocuses growing under a tree by the wayside.
I usually only see these in early spring. They're often the first signs of color when the world is still dominated by the grey and brown hues of winter. At first I thought it must be an oddity, but then I googled and apparently autumn blooming crocuses are something perfectly normal.
Further along my aimless zig-zagging through the park I came by a fenced off construction site. Some graffiti artist used the free canvas to show off their skills there.
Some of the paint already flaking off the plastic fence surface actually gives this amazing piece of art extra appeal. And I love those vibrant colours. Awesome stuff!
I also managed to catch one of those newest edition pokemon in an easy raid today. I kinda like that little thing, especially its facial expression, if you know what I mean ;P
To put a cherry on top of a great walks with lots of nice things to see and perfect late summer's weather, I also met a random feline stranger on my way home.
I like to think that I actually know most of the cats in my neighbourhood but he was a new face to me. Quite the grumpy face and a huuuuge guy. Not one for much cuddling though, his priorities were probably more about finding food. We parted ways after a short greeting and I went back home for dinner and to play with numbers.
Thanks for your time!
