Actifit Updates - Actifit Web V1.4.5 Out💥

It is time for another update by actifit team with the release of our web version 1.4.5

Main Updates

As part of this update, we have pushed version 1.4.5 of our web portal actifit.io, with several main features, improvements, and bug fixes to push forward our user experience.

Hive Explore: We are delighted to present a new landing page that allows users to explore hive right from actifit.io. The Explore page encapsulates public access to hive content from a community perspective (logged in or logged out), with several main communities being auto-featured for the user (for now those include 3speak, Actifit, Pinmapple, OCD, Dbuzz, Splinterlands and Leofinance).

The user also has the option to select or deselect from other popular communities depending on his interest. The list gets populated dynamically depending on popular communities on Hive at the time.
We have taken a different approach to this view, using horizontal scrollable sections, with arrow controllers and auto-expanding vertical display.

Signup Improvements: We have improved our actifit signup process by implementing several functionalities and adjustments as follows:
- We now support HBD as payment for the signup. We've long been accepting solely HIVE as we wanted to push users to buy HIVE, yet as many users from Hive want to pay in HBD, we implemented the option. Soon we intend to include other options to make it easier for anyone to be onboarded regardless of what crypto they own.
- Implement key download button. In our prior signup process, the user was requested to save his keys. In the new process, the user now has the option to click the download button that would allow downloading a backup of his user and pass/keys to prevent accidental account loss, as has happened several times in the past.
- Migrate to captcha V3 on signup. We have our V2 captcha on our signup screen, we just migrated this over to V3 for a smoother and seamless user signup experience.
- Implement Regerenerate password/memo key. Completely optional yet could come in handy if the user wants a different random password at signup or memo.
Wallet Improvements: We have a big rewrite of our wallet implementation to enable support for public wallet data. As of now, users' public wallet info is visible via links such as https://actifit.io/actifit/wallet (we support both @ or no @ usernames in links)
The wallet will provide all the normal details for logged in users, without the capability to take actions
- The wallet is accessible from a user's provide via a button underneath the comments button.
- We have additionally implemented an adjustment to wallet account value calculation for HE tokens, whereby now we take into consideration the value of staked tokens.
Sting Chat Update: We have updated our Sting chat implementation to the latest version, for both backend and front end support, following the recent update by the peakd team.
Footer Section Addendum: We have taken some suggestions by a few community members (thank you @guiltyparties and @rubencress ) to remove some items from the top menu bar, and created a new footer section that caters for special links to actifit and to hive. We took the opportunity to provide extra hive links pointing to hive official website and hive's block explorer
Additional Fixes: We have also implemented various fixes and improvements, including:
- Fix for community logo display and code refactoring.
- Fix for negative staked balance in wallet display under hive-engine token balance
- Fix formatting issue for some post types
- Fix issue with voting popup placement in modal post mode.

Mobile App Updates

We are very close to releasing 2 new updates on both Android and iOS. So expect an upcoming release in the coming few days, particularly for the iOS as it will bring major improvements to the user experience there and make it very close to the Android experience.
