On my walk very close to my apartment there is a small pond, which was in my focus today.
On closer inspection I discovered some mallard ducks, which apparently moved into their autumn and maybe also winter shelter here. To be more precise these are two duck couples!
The ducks have adapted perfectly to the environment, only the males stand out a little bit more than the females with their colorful feathering.
Auf meinem Spaziergang ganz in der Nähe meiner Wohnung befindet sich ein kleiner Weiher, der heute in meinem Fokus war.
Bei genauerem Hinsehen entdeckte ich einige Stockenten, die hier offenbar ihr Herbst- und vielleicht auch Winterquartier bezogen haben. Genauer gesagt sind es zwei Entenpärchen!
Farblich haben sich die Enten perfekt der Umgebung angepasst, nur die Männchen stechen mit ihrem bunten Gefieder ein wenig mehr heraus als die Weibchen.
