The beginnings of a storm
Layers upon layers of clouds roll in
Varying shades of darkness
A play of light and dark
Some racing along with the wind
Some stay... stationary...
Fleeting worries - which is more damaging, which more scary
To know the end, it is an act that needs to be played out
What we can do is just watch
And wait
While the layers of the storm
Dance around and do their thing
