Looking down over the balustrades, I thought this scene looked kind of familiar... Then it struck me - I have not been there before, but seen many shots of it - it reminded me of the Siti Khadijah Market in Kota Bharu, Kelantan! (Kelantan is a northern state in Peninsular Malaysia)

This flea market scene, however, was shot in Ampang, almost Kuala Lumpur (near the borderline) at a neighbourhood mall. I thought I would leave the scene as is, not even retouching the sticker-taped flooring, masking a tear in the carpet probably...
Shot post-Chinese New Year, you can still see a couple of Chinese lantern decorations put up, and of course a red carpet to usher in the auspicious occasion! I wished it was slightly bigger and I would have gone up to a higher floor to catch a more detached view...
