I finally found some fungi! Yayyyyy......!!!
I'm always wondering why is it I can't find any around here when Malaysia is supposed to be a hot and wet country. Should be the easiest thing to find here, right..?!!
Finally when they recently pruned some trees and cut some down (grrrrr... not to happy with that, but they probably had good reason... like they were dying, etc) I found these at the base around a tree stump, right next to my apartment entrance too!
Other than the big one on the left, the rest seem to have tumbled out of the stump!
And I love the gills shown by the one in the middle...
Reminds me of the old-fashioned petticoats... lol...
Looks like I got to these three a little late
They seem to have shrivelled up around the sides, a little burnt even
And a little torn and tattered
But still standing strong!

These are all one variety...
And kinda boring ones... haha
Shhhhh.... don't let them hear that - they might be sad I called them boring...
Again, a little dried up around the sides and seemingly turned over from the usual plate shape
Here, you can see the full tree stump with some dried moss on it
And a whole bunch of these mushrooms surrounding one side of it
