we've largely mostly curated other communities since hive and let the ocd community die off but people somehow found their way to using it for intro posts which we were okay with so the amount of subscribers wouldn't go to waste, but doesn't mean that what gets posted or curated there has much of authenticity or moderation behind it, so just wanted to point that out.

As you said, posting an intro post would be best suited placed in a community where there's people with relevancy, I.e. Filipino newcomers posting in fhe PH community rather than ocd is better for retention and curation/views as an example. That's how we've handled the onboarding project at least.
