This problem is what the web of trust system for the @swarmpost is designed to resolve.

It allows for the filtering of new posts, especially introduceyourself posts, based on the trust score of the people who onboarded them.

It mostly needs more people participating in the web of trust and perhaps some integration into other UI's to make it easier to participate.
