Last week I configured the scotbot to pay out the authors and curators of posts with the #nobel tag
(see here).
I needed to wait for one week, to see if the bot is doing what I wanted him to do.

And yes, he does!!!
Proof of the work from scotbot
The scotbot checks regularely all posts on STEEM and adds some metadata when he sees tags, that are corresponding to the token, that exist on Steem-engine.com.
After seven days the scotbot distributes the token to the authors and curators, corresponding to the staked amount of the curators. The more a curator has staked, the more NOBEL he and the author gets (50/50).
Author Reward
Let's have a look at an example post from me. With the following URL one can see which posts I have written, used the #nobel tag and are older than seven days:

Sum Up
Curation- and author rewards are added to your account after the posts are finished after one week. You can claim them on steem-engine.com by clicking on the claim button.
After that you can either stake them (by clicking on the lock symbol) or exchange them into other token and therefore withdraw it into "real" money.
The NOBEL token was made to stake and to get therefor power to upvote good charity content.
People that do charity should sell (a part) of the token to be able to support their work.
