Today, I achieved a big milestone. For the first time in my Hive career, I own more than 50'000 hive power. This places me in the 332 rank of all hive users in terms of Hive Power.
I started my adventure on this blockchain in March 2018, a bit more than 5 years ago. I began with zero stake and created my first posts that got very low payouts. I didn't give up though and I went on posting and creating content.
I became a Dolphin after 2.5 years on the chain
It took me a very long time to reach 100 Hive Power and to start seeing my first curation rewards coming in. After that the growth of my account started to accelerate. At the end of 2020, I reached dolphinhood. I had accumulated 5000 hive power. It took me more than 2.5 years to get there. But I didn't want to stop here. So I went on creating content and powering up Hive.
My stake grew faster and faster. The proportion of the curation rewards was getting bigger. The more Hive Power I owned, the more curation rewards I was earning. I started to set goals for me. Hive Power has always been my primary goal and this helped to focus my attention in accumulating my stake.
Then the craziness started around Splinterlands. I managed to sell some of my assets and my hive power grew faster than ever. In 2021, my Hive Power evolved from 5'933 to 18'800. In 2022, the stake grew to 40'562 HP. In 2023, after about 7 months I passed 50'000 Hive Power...
I want to become an Orca this year
The threshold to become an Orca at the moment is at 56'600 Hive Power. There are only 300 people on the blockchain who are rated above this level. It's a very exclusive club that I want to join. My aim is to reach 60'000 HP until the end of the year. It will be difficult to get there but who knows...
