You keep beating yourself up by asking why you failed, instead of looking for a way forward. For a long time I did the same thing, replaying my own setbacks looking for someone or something to blame.
But that was not the case for my daughter. The mindset that actually moved her forward was not regretting that she did not pass, but focusing on learning something in that moment.
Here is the teaching I hold onto now, dwelling on why something failed keeps us stuck in the past, but asking what the experience is trying to teach us moves us straight into your next attempt.
So here is a question for you, what is the most painful failure in your life right now actually trying to teach you?
