We have a beautiful, sunny and warm Saturday in here, but I'm in the mood for some monomading and that's what this post is all about. It's about taking ordinary, and not so ordinary pics, that I took here and there on different days of this year and suit them up for a more serious tone.

Playing with black and white filters is not the filter for anyone, because some like them, some don't. I like them, and like playing with them, when I'm looking to bring a bit of stillness to my mind. That's how I feel when contemplating some pics like these. It's like finding an old photo book of my grandma, where all the pics were black and white, and almost nobody was smiling.

I have to admit that I discovered this trend ever since I joined Steem. On instagram and facebook I wasn't editing any of my pics this way. I guess it felt depressing, or who knows why. In here there are plenty of people doing this type of posts and I like em. I wish I had a better camera, to put to the table of editing, some higher quality pics, but for the moment I don't.

The following ones are 2020 branded and some of them you might recognize as being already uploaded in some other posts, at least one from what I remember. When comparing them, from what they express to the open eye, and how they change perspectives, you realize that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder, and most often reactions are entirely our own property. Nobody has any guilt for our mood.

Long story short, I gathered about 10 pictures that I consider worthy of being thrown into some black and white editing and here you have the end result. I am expecting straightforward feedback, so if you like em leave a like, if don't hit that downvote button. It's up to you.
