I was spending some time in the garden while playing with my phone and taking a few photos. For me, photography does not always have to be serious or planned. Sometimes, it begins with simply holding the phone, looking around, and becoming curious about what angle might make a subject look more interesting.
Trying to experiment in photography has become one of my favorite hobbies. I enjoy looking at the same subject from different sides and seeing how the result changes. A flower can look ordinary from one angle, but when I move closer, lower the camera, or frame it with the leaves around it, the photo suddenly feels different.
That is what makes photography fun for me. It is not only about capturing what is in front of me, but also about discovering a better way to see it. Sometimes the first shot is already nice, but then I try another angle and it becomes even better. Other times, the experiment does not work, but that is also part of the process.
In these photos, I liked how the flowers and leaves appeared in black and white. The shapes became more noticeable, and the shadows gave the images a deeper mood. The garden may be familiar, but through the camera, it still offers something new.
This reminds me that life can also be seen from different angles. When something feels ordinary, maybe we only need to look at it differently. A small change in perspective can make us appreciate things more.
I’m happy to share these simple garden experiments today.
Have a good day ahead.
